Do You Trust Yourself - and How Do You Treat Others?
How do you see yourself? Do you dare to be who you really are? Or do you put on a "mask" so people won't see the real you…
So many people never allow themselves to be who they are - they believe they're not good enough. And they live according to expectations of how others want YOU to be.
Many of us are shaped by this from the time we are very small. Your parents have expectations that you'll become who they wished for, older siblings have opinions about what you can and cannot do, and you are molded in kindergarten, at school, and by close friends. Many put on a "mask" in everyday life and don't show their true self to very many people. Some live like this their whole lives. They think that if I just avoid this and that, people won't notice me. But that's not what they truly want - deep inside, the soul is crying out to be SEEN - to be VALUED.
It is so important to get to know yourself - who you TRULY are - and to dare to be yourself. Trust that you are good enough exactly as YOU ARE.
I wish this were given more weight in school - that our differences were celebrated instead of everyone being shaped into one mold… That we were allowed to be ourselves and have our own opinions. And allowed to strengthen the gifts YOU are good at. Instead of having the old "don't think you're anything special" mindset drummed into us…
It's important to go within and feel - what do I need in MY life to feel valued - because it is so important that we all feel VALUED. Every one of us matters equally in this world.
And truly SEEING others - it takes so little… a few kind, encouraging words might be exactly what that person needed right there and then to get through a difficult time. A few words can be the ones that person remembers for the rest of their life.
It matters that we all try to treat others the way we want to be treated ourselves. That's how we create a beautiful world.
But why are we so afraid to be ourselves? Why are we so afraid to express what we believe?
I have very much been there myself, terrified of what others might think of me.
Since I started being myself, I've often heard from family - "imagine what people will think if you post this and that on Facebook"…
Can't we get a little better at being ourselves, having our own opinions, and not worrying about what the neighbors will say if I choose to be this way or that… Isn't it wonderful that we have different opinions? Imagine how boring it would be if we were all the same.
I've noticed this especially on Facebook. When someone raises a topic that truly matters for the world, most people are terrified to write what they think. Complete silence… But if you post what you had for dinner, a film you watched, or someone's birthday - THEN people dare to comment. Stepping outside the comfort zone is terribly scary - but it is so important for you as a soul that you do it. Because only then can you feel truly at peace with yourself and speak YOUR truth in life.
As my guides/helpers once shared with me:
"When you start to be you - that's when The Magic happens"

To build self-confidence, you need to cultivate a sense of self-acceptance and trust by setting achievable goals, challenging negative self-talk, and focusing on your strengths.
Other key strategies include surrounding yourself with supportive people, practicing self-care, and becoming more confident by setting healthy boundaries.
Build a positive mindset
Challenge negative thoughts: Pay attention to how you speak to yourself and work on replacing negative or self-critical thoughts with positive ones.
Acknowledge your strengths: Make an effort to discover what you're good at, and focus on your abilities, achievements, and positive qualities.
Practice self-compassion: Treat yourself with the same kindness and understanding you would offer a friend.
Forgive yourself: Accept past mistakes without letting them define you, and learn from them. And don't carry the weight of painful experiences and regrets with you through life. Leave it behind and decide that what's done is done and that it will no longer shape your life. Whether you caused these things yourself or they are painful experiences that have shaped your life. If you have been through hurtful experiences, forgive those who caused them - for your own sake. You don't have to say it to the person involved, but hold in your heart that it has made you a stronger person and say THANK YOU FOR THE LESSON.
If you are the one who caused others to be treated badly - then ask for forgiveness and clear the air, for your own sake and for theirs. We have all done foolish things - that's how we learn.
Take action and build experience
Set realistic goals: Start with small, achievable goals to build a sense of mastery. This helps you develop trust in your own abilities.
Step outside your comfort zone - Face new challenges gradually or try new things. Every time you overcome something that feels scary and difficult, your confidence grows.
Develop new skills: Learning and growing in an area you enjoy can significantly boost your sense of competence.
Build a support system: Spend time with people who are positive and supportive, and who encourage you to trust yourself. And let go of people who don't support you, who drain your energy, and who don't bring good feelings into your life.
Learn to say NO - Set boundaries by asserting your needs and politely declining things you don't have the time or energy for.
Limit negative influences: Stop following or distance yourself from people who make you feel insecure.
Prioritize self-care
Take care of your body: Try to get plenty of physical activity and fresh air, get enough rest, and enjoy the little things in everyday life - it all has a positive effect on your mental well-being.
Do things you love: Set aside time for hobbies and activities you enjoy that help you relax and feel good about yourself.

When you feel good about yourself, you have so much more to give to others. REMEMBER TO VALUE YOURSELF ENJOY LIFE and don't waste it on negative thoughts.
